LinkedIn® training for the healthcare industry
Imagine having a Google-ranked LinkedIn profile that acts as your 24/7 reputation builder—bringing you new clients, collaborations, and job offers while you sleep.
Many healthcare business owners overlook LinkedIn or don’t use it effectively. Unlike other social platforms, LinkedIn is the place for professional networking, business growth, and boosting your online presence.
You need to be on LinkedIn.
Brands I’ve worked with.
“Andy has given great insight in to an area clinicians often have little exposure or expertise with. Invaluable with his advice and support and I am sincerely looking forward to working with him more on an individual basis in the future.”
Dr Michael Cooke - Director at Simply MSK Ltd, and Leeds United Club Doctor.
You’ve got questions.
Fear not! I would, too. LinkedIn has been around longer than Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. The LinkedIn stereotype is that it’s formal, corporate, and boring. It may well have been in the past, but that’s no longer the case. Here are some questions I get asked:
Do I need to be on LinkedIn?
Should I use LinkedIn for my clinic marketing?
Is LinkedIn worth it?
My answer to each of these is a resounding YES. I wrote a very short blog giving 7 immediate reasons as to why you or your healthcare business should be on LinkedIn. Have a quick read here, then please come back!
The offer.
1:1 and group LinkedIn training—profile optimisation and content strategy. Your business may be product based, or a patient-facing healthcare clinic. My LinkedIn training is not just restricted to physios. We share a common interest in improving healthcare across the board, for our staff, peers, and patients. A ‘why’ worth striving for.
What you get from me.
I approach LinkedIn the same way I treat patients—with empathy, care, and a little humour. A smile goes a very long way!
The LinkedIn training I offer very much takes human connection in to account. Having a profile and content strategy that resonates with your target audience will compel them to want to work with or be served by you.
I was the Physiotherapy Lead in the Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Problem-solving in complex situations in the middle of a crisis was a common occurrence!
Having left in 2023, I still see some private patients as an associate physio, and cover occasional NHS bank shifts on triage alongside the district nurses.
By working with the audience you work with and for, this keeps me bang up-to-date with the latest in healthcare.
I was once described as a ‘triple threat’ for these reasons. I may not be able to sing, dance, and act, but I can LinkedIn, write, and treat—with results!

My fame precedes me.
Here are several podcasts where I talk about my experience in the NHS, how I became a copywriter, and then why I turned my attention to LinkedIn training for healthcare business owners.
